Val’s commitment to the organisational value of effective risk management has defined her leadership at Risk Decisions. CEO since 1998, and recognised as a global risk management specialist, Val works closely with clients as well as leading conversations on the cultural, process and technical issues within the project, business and enterprise risk management world.
Today’s organisation faces increased risk management pressures. To help customers navigate through this change, Val helps shape risk management standards and guidance. Val reviewed the UK Office of Government Commerce’s ‘Management of Risk’ guidance and has collaborated on risk management guidance with the Association of Project Management, Project Management Institute and US National Defence Industry Association.
Val has a joint honours BA in Mathematics and Computing from Oxford University. Outside work her interests include travel and theatre.
