Risk management is all about identifying, assessing, and prioritising potential threats and vulnerabilities in order to protect your organisation. In the current digital age, one of the biggest risks that organisations face is a constant and never-ending wave of cyber attacks, be it large or small. That’s why it’s essential for businesses to implement a robust cyber security platform to safeguard their systems.
At Risk Decisions, we are always looking for ways to improve security measures for our own data and that of our customers. That’s why we are excited to announce that we have recently added the Cyber Essentials Plus certification to our list of security accreditations.
The Cyber Essentials Plus certification is a set of technical controls and processes that organisations must have in place to protect against common cyber threats. It is administered by the UK government’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and is recognised as a standard for cyber security in the UK.
To obtain the Cyber Essentials Plus certification, Risk Decisions had to undergo a demanding assessment process. This included first a self-assessment and then a rigorous audit of our systems, not only in the UK, but also in Australia and North America.
John Brookman, Risk Decisions IT/IS Manager said “It required a significant investment of time and resources, but we believe it was worth the effort. Not only does it demonstrate our commitment to cyber security, but it also gives our clients confidence that we are taking the necessary steps to protect their data.”
