Thank you to everyone who attended our Risk Seminar Munich last week. We designed the event to explore the challenges facing the risk management community and show how risk can be embraced to shape the future. The Risk Decisions team were thrilled to welcome global organisations across defence, aerospace and technology.
We’d invited Keith Roach, Risk Management Consultant with over 40 years’ experience, with a particular focus on opportunity management, shared risk registers and supply chain, on board to help address attendees’ challenges. These ranged from improving risk awareness and end-user engagement through to making risk relevant across an organisation. A challenge shared by our customers is communicating the value of risk management to leadership teams as well as engaging senior management with risk strategy more effectively.
Keith highlighted that senior management need to commit to supporting a risk management culture for any engagement to be successful. The tendency for global companies to only consider risk management a priority when something goes wrong, needs to shift to ensure risk is fully embraced within an organisation. Our next step is to resolve this dilemma.
Risk Decisions has a growing community of users in Germany so this was an opportunity to bring our customers together, share best practice and strengthen relationships. Our collaborative approach means we’re always seeking new ways to get closer to customer pain points, so that we can respond to these via our platform, while adding value through consultancy. It allows our customers to share their voices and connect.
