Throughout the 80’s, 90’s and early 2000’s, the risk to our planet lay at the back of our minds. Though with the alarming growth in natural disasters, it is now a front-page news issue and a cause for greater and greater concern.
With the advancement in technology and the deterioration of our planet’s well-being, Risk Decisions has sought to reduce its carbon impact actively. We have started by working with our global offices and partners remotely when possible, supporting the work from home initiative and reducing waste and improving recycling.
Finally, we are more aware of our international travel, and when we can’t avoid it, we will offset it. As a first step, in December 2019, we contributed to the Woodland Trust. Our first donation of £12 000 will be used to plant 3200 trees in and around the UK.
“Risk Decisions Group is working with the Woodland Trust to absorb 800 tonnes of carbon dioxide, through the planting of approximately 3,200 trees, helping with our strategy to reduce our business carbon footprint”.
We are conscious of our environment and we are playing our part, as small as it is, to improve the quality of our global home.
